(b. 1963, UK: arr. Aust. 1970)

 

Nick Howson's landscapes are constructed with an interest of 'biomorphic and geometric shapes'. Graduating with a Diploma in Fine Arts in 1986, he has held more than 15 solo exhibitions and participated in over 20 group exhibitions since 1988. A magazine illustrator for the Sunday Age, 1997-2001, Nick Howson's work has appeared as the illustration for numerous book covers and posters. In 2005 he was an artist in residence at Bundanon in NSW, the property gifted to the Australian people by Arthur Boyd, who wanted to share the place that had so inspired him.
